Today’s message from the electric company says we might have power on Wednesday.
We drove to Kapaa Sunday. Roads barely passable in places. Got to Kapaa area to find things almost normal there. Hardly any damage at all. So not all of the island was as affected as us on northshore or southshore.

Woke up to no power again. Had hot coffee at neighbor’s who have a generator. In the afternoon drove to Kapaa for a haircut. On the way received text from neighbor saying we have power. Yay!!! Had dinner in Kapaa and came home to lights in houses on our street. 😃
