Crikey!

Looks there are reinstating this forest track as a road.

Headed over there today & they have scraped the top layer, widened it and placed markers along its route.

A lovely mature tree next to a significant shrine today

Not sure what type of tree
but I think it has remained there due the its proximity to the shrine

I wish I had the discipline of this man

[ I have thousands of images of all sorts of ethnographic subjects from places I have lived,
I'm just crap at filing and often get distracted
'...look at the size of that cow!!!' ]

Long shadows and deep mud!

...and I really wish I hadn't just washed the bike!

Nice sunny day, a bit chilly,
but my favourite forest road had recently been logged,
I came back filthy!

It was my cats' vet that told me about this one,

he rides an old 1980s Honda XL 250 [jealous as..!]

he gave me a vague description of where to find it, I was lost, deep in the forest

I'd almost given up, when I saw what I thought was a Sloth climbing a tree stump!

Sadly, despite over 20 years of trying my Polish is rubbish

How I wish I could ask so many questions about this perspex beauty!!

A new Kaplica / Chapel for me

I was off to see a site where pilgrims were robbed, murdered & buried in shallow graves in 1752, but came across this beauty

THe man who lives next door came out and showed me inside.
