Kathie Lee Gifford shaded the LGBTQ community for adding identifying letters in its title: 'They've really got to stop with that,' the morning TV icon said.

In a recent interview with conservative commentator Tomi Lahren on her Fox Nation show, retired television host Kathie Lee Gifford discussed balancing her Christian faith with acceptance of the LGBTQ community. Responding to a question about reconciling her beliefs with support for LGBTQ individuals—prompted by actor Shia LaBeouf's recent controversial remarks and arrest involving homophobic slurs—Gifford emphasized love as her guiding principle. She quoted the Bible's call to 'love your neighbor as yourself' and shared a personal message she said came from God: to stay too busy loving people she disagrees with to judge them. Gifford stated she has many gay friends and does not judge others, leaving that to God. However, she interrupted her thoughts to complain about the evolving LGBTQ acronym, saying she no longer knows how many letters it includes and urging, 'They’ve really got to stop with that. We know what you mean.' The comment came amid her promotion of her new book, a fictional work about Roman Emperor Nero and Saint Paul. While positioning herself as compassionate and non-judgmental, the gripe about the acronym drew attention as a minor but pointed criticism of LGBTQ identity terminology.

Sam the Cooking Guy gave Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb a piece of his mind when they kept interrupting his segment.
