La expedición, denominada Made in Uganda Grand Trans-Africa Electric Expedition (o From the Pearl to the Cape), tuvo como objetivo principal evaluar el rendimiento real del vehículo en condiciones de larga distancia interurbana, más allá de entornos urbanos controlados. Se registró un consumo medio de 0,79 kWh por kilómetro y una media diaria de 390 kilómetros. En algunos segmentos fue necesario emplear soluciones de carga móviles debido a la falta de puntos de recarga potentes y accesibles. El autobús cuenta con una batería de 422 kWh, potencia máxima de 400 kW y autonomía anunciada de hasta 500 km en condiciones óptimas.
