Same place, different sides of the small water at different times of the year in this dune system. In the summer it dries out, wet winters if floods. Middle of the year it was shoes to cross

Blue sky view across the pool at Kenfig National Nature Reserve. A sandy path leads to the water’s edge and there’s a distinctive tree with a short trunk and bare branches extending up to vaguely umbrella-shaped foliage.
