My streaming setup hasn't gotten nearly enough love these last few years, so I combined my work station into it. Might as well make use of these keylights.

I’m using two of the Key Lights in my WFH setup. I’ve got an automation set up in #HomeAssistant where:
WHEN the webcam is active
CONDITIONALLY my primary display is my desk monitor
THEN turn on the elgato Keylights (to specific brightness/color temp).
Opposite automation when camera is off.

Not gonna lie, I'm SO much happier with my lighting situation now (right side) and all I did was dim my backlighting and turn my keylights a bit.

I really wish there was a way I could actually wear glasses IRL during my streams but my keylights reflecting on the lenses actually craps out the tracking on the iPhone.

at least two ringlights from different angles makes a photo/video much better in quality. keylights are nice too! it takes a while to get good angles and i’ll have a bunch of photos i don’t like before i find that sweet spot so don’t give up 💜

Zu meinem Geburtstagsgeschenk: Ne 4TB M.2 SSD und die Keylights, die ich mir gewünscht habe! Damit ich einerseits gut aussehe, andererseits meine Micro-Lags endlich verschwinden. Bin gespannt, wie das jetzt in Zukunft läuft.

Kinda funny, I've always been getting blinded by my 2 keylights. Running at 10% so very dim.
Now like 4 years later I just turned them around to face the white wall and not only do I get the same green screen effect, I feel like the effect is more natural and softer. No blinding lights anymore.

My sister got me a second keylight mini for Christmas and I got myself a better arm for my webcam so I can easily switch between spelltable mode and face mode.

I have an all Elgato setup - wave 3 mic, camera, and keylights. I have some nice Bose external speakers and a stream deck mini too
