Lizard? Lizard.

Here's my beloved darling WoL, Khorijin Uyagir. 🧡

(respective arts by @coffeekats.bsky.social, @nozomimats.bsky.social and @voidcrest.bsky.social, all absolutely amazing artists)
A portrait of a Xaela Au Ra, she has light to tan skin with a grey or purple undertone, silver hair with orange tips and brown eyes with bright orange limbal rings. She wears an off-white poncho over her shoulders and chest. She's smiling, looking off to the side. A full-body image of Khorijin showing off her samurai abilities. She wears an eastern-themed armour in browns, black and orange. She holds her katana above her head, ready to strike. There's a moon behind her, akin to one of the samurai abilities in the game. Khorijin resting in the shade, leaning on a wall. Her katana is sheathed, though she's holding the handle with her left hand, her right hand resting ontop of it. She's looking to the side, her expression wary. She wears brown leather gloves aswell as armour and wears an off-white poncho over her shoulders and chest. Her midriff is exposed, revealing her dark scales on the sides.

#Ystride and #Euphemia are pretty much the only two that are average height; everyone else is much taller than average.

(Context: #Mirita = Miqo'te, #Khorijin & #Khoride = Au Ra, #Rija = Viera, Ystride = Elezen, Euphemia = Highlander*, #Zardaar = Draenei, #Anaya = Night Elf.)
A height chart displaying multiple women standing side-by-side with their heights listed out. Mirita is 6'1"/185.4 cm, Khorijin and Khoride are 6'2"/188 cm, Rija is 7'3"/221 cm, Ystride is 6'6"/198.1 cm, Euphemia is 6'4"/193 cm, Helena is 7'8"/233.7cm, Zardaar is 7'4"/223.5 cm, and Anaya is 7'10.5"/240 cm. • Mirita is 6 fulm 1 ilm/186 cm. She doesn't think a lot about how tall she is even though she's aware that she's much taller than many Miqo'te; she's mostly just Used To It at this point. • Khorijin and Khoride are 6 fulm 2 ilm/190 cm. Much like Mirita, Khorijin does not think very much about it, whilst Khoride revels in it and enjoys it, mostly for intimidation but also for seduction. • Rija is 7 fulm 3 ilm/223 cm. She is very proud of her height as well, and has gotten used to fielding Many Questions about it. Given that many other Viera in her family are at least her height or will grow that tall, she doesn't think anything of it. • Ystride is 6 fulm 6 ilm/200 cm. They’re happy with it mostly because it means she’s not that much different from any other Elezen at a glance. It also makes a funny because this means that they're Khori and Ride's big little sister. • Euphemia is 6 fulm 4 ilm/193 cm. She is aware it is a perfectly Highlandery height to be, and is not worried about it. • Helena is 7 fulm 8 ilm/234 cm. She used to be self-conscious about it when she was younger, thinking it might not have been queenly, but grew into it over time and now regards it rather neutrally most of the time. • Zardaar is 7 fulm 4 ilm/223.5 cm. She was more uncomfortable with it pre-transition, but post-transition and adjusting to the changes in her body shape, she’s fine with it and it’s probably one of the few things she’s subtly rather proud of, though she’s a little shy about actively flaunting it. • Anaya is 7 fulm 10.5 ilm/240 cm. Much like Rija, she takes a lot of pride in her height, and did even before transitioning, though she needed a bit of extra time to adapt her training to being stealthy to compensate for it. Now, she uses it as a distraction and seduction tactic when and where it’s appropriate.

Day 1: Prelude

A memory of their origin eventually rejoined them.

#Mirita, #Khorijin, and #Rija, the original Ladies of Light, and their sixth member/second mom/Azem, #Euphemia.

Four Black women walking down a street in Ul'dah; a Miqo'te, an Au Ra, a Viera, and a Highlander. The Miqo'te and Au Ra are looking at each other, holding hands, while the Viera and Highlander are watching them, and a ghostly image of the Highlander, dressed up in fancy, Ancient-like robes, is watching them with a similar smile as her non-faded counterpart.

Even as a child, Khorijin was a fair bit taller than most Xaela girls her age.

I also imagine that her horns here grew and curled into their current shape, and that her earrings were a gift from either her mother or her older twin sisters that she has worn for a while.
Khorijin, a Black Xaela Au Ra, standing next to her younger self. They both have their arms folded, and the younger Khorijin's horns are shorter and smaller, as is her tail. Similarly, Khorijin and Khoride apply their facepaints as needed. As for their eyes, Khorijin has their mother Gorbeljin's; Khoride does too, but the patterning of her irides is different. Khoride also wears black lipstick to be visibly different from Khorijin. (2/7)

#Mirita makes all the Ladies' jewelry.
#Khorijin represented her own clan in the Naadam rather than fight for Hien, and became khagan.
#Rija used to be a member of the Dalmascan resistance.
#Khoride is Khorijin's twin sister. (1/2)
Mirita, a Black Seeker Miqo'te, poses in front of a gazebo. She is winking with both hands holding up three fingers, indicating she's 33 years old. Khorijin, a Black Au Ra, stands calmly on the Azim Steppe, a spear in hand. Rija, a Black Viera, poses confidently with pouty lips and a pretty smile. Khoride, a Black Au Ra, sitting and smirking confidently at a bar.

#AuRaApril Day 1: Introduction

Khorijin (the Dragoon) & Khoride (the Reaper) are a pair of Au Ra twins and both Ladies of Light, albeit...unusual ones. Khorijin is Mirita's stoic, serious partner and beloved; Khoride is far more liberated, a result of events relating to the DRK storyline.
Two Black Xaela Au Ra standing side-by-side on a rock--one is dressed in blue and white armor with a spear, while the other is in dark-blue wrought-iron gear with a scythe. The spear wielder has a serious expression, whilst the other smirks.
