First time using Kicad, can anyone help with why I'm sometimes unable to reposition components. I'm pressing D to drag, but it just reverts to old position after left click. Moving with M works fine, but then I have to fix the traces manually :(

lol i made a python script to 'relax' traces from kicad while observing the DRC rules (unlike the round-traces plugin, natch) and i kinda love it. i wonder if the pcb fabs would manufacture this madness

Designed a little breadboard adapter for connecting all pins of a Pico de Gallo with just one ribbon cable and its working great. Thanks @balbi.sh for letting me contribute this! If anybody is interested, have a look in the repo!

im not really a qucs master, mostly have used spice (pspice, although i believe kicad integrates ngspice). qucs is way more flexible in terms of graphing your sim output, and evaluating a bunch of interdependent calculations at sim-time. Subjectively it's just nicer to use.
