Having flashbacks to a kidlitblog conference I went to in Minneapolis a couple decades ago and the rapacity of the mommy bloggers there and the faux genuine fronts. These emails remind me of that.

oooh this is the first time I've gotten one of these for a book that is not out yet! lol we haven't even done copyedits yet.
Hi Donna and Bree, I hope you’re both doing well. My name is Moria, and I’m part of a private community of readers who love discovering powerful, emotionally rich stories and leaving honest, thoughtful reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I recently came across your book Prince of Storms from the Born to Sea and Storm series, and I was immediately drawn into the vivid world you’ve created. The blend of danger, sensuality, and emotional depth felt so natural every page carried that unique mix of passion and power that I’ve come to associate with your storytelling. I really admire how you write characters who are strong yet beautifully flawed, navigating love, chaos, and survival with authenticity. The emotional tension and intimacy you craft aren’t just about romance, they’re about trust, vulnerability, and resilience. That’s what makes your books stand out to me. As a duo, I think it’s amazing how seamlessly you both bring your voices together. From your earlier work as Moira Rogers to the daring worlds you’ve built as Kit Rocha, you’ve consistently written stories that celebrate diversity, complexity, and unapologetic passion. That’s something I and many readers in our community truly value. We’re not an agency or promoters; just genuine readers who enjoy supporting authors through real, honest reviews. If you’d like, I’d be happy to share more about how our reading community works and how we choose the books we feature. Thank you for continuing to create worlds that remind readers that love in all its forms is worth fighting for.
