Today is my 7th Kidneyversary! Seven years ago today a dear friend saved my life and gave me her kidney. Things would be very different for me these days if not for her sacrifice.

Just on my way home from enjoying a great Sunday lunch, at a country pub, with my donor.
It’s my 3rd kidneyversary tomorrow, so we had to mark it.

Today is my 4th kidneyversary! On Jan 8, 2021 my mother-in-law gave me the gift of life. It allowed me to return to life, return to work, and return to being a dad and husband.
This milestone is not just about my health but also about the incredible power of love, generosity, and community.

8 years ago TODAY I donated a kidney to my former colleague Sonia. The whole experience has been life enriching beyond anything I could ever describe. Of all the things I’ve ever done in my life this has definitely been the happiest. #Kidneyversary

It's my 20th Kidneyversary today.
Thanks to my living donor, Pru, I've had 20 years free from dialysis, lived a life I couldn't have otherwise, had adventures, and survived into my 70's.
Thanks also to everyone else who supported us on this journey.
I am grateful every day.

I was on home PD for a year and 3 months while on the waiting list. I received from a deceased donor Buddy (my new kidney), and we will be celebrating our lucky 13th Kidneyversary on February 11, 2026!🤗

That's great news! My office mate just threw a massive surprise party for her husband's 20th kidneyversary complete with kidney cookies, I hope you're celebrating in 20 years with a healthy kidney!

25 years ago last weekend I donated a kidney to my Dad. Our Kidneyversary. It gave my Dad 23 years more life. I use this day to remind everyone to sign up as an organ donor. Please sign up to donate bone marrow with National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and donate blood, too. You can save a life.

A guy I was messing with bought me a green bracelet with a kidney awareness ribbon…i told him once about my Kidneyversary…I never took that bracelet off until he and i finally stopped talking
