Took the cone off Mellie for the first time since Saturday visit to the local vet.

She has an infection on the inner thigh where the bandaid was.

Putting cortisone cream on it 3 times a day and it seems to be working.

First night is over. She slept on the mattress i put on the floor.

She hates the cone because it prevents her from going toget to her hiding spots.

We had a short walk to the park next door today.

Had to trim her fur because it was getting too long, dirty and stinky. I think I over did it.
She wouldn't stand still & I had a hard time keeping her down.

But it will grow again. She is recovering well from the #operation.
