The ZIS-30 tank destroyer was made by combining the 57 mm ZIS-2 anti-tank gun and the T-20 Komsomolets tractor. #OTD in 1942 a report was composed praising the effectiveness of this weapon, but only 100 were ever built due to a shortage of chassis. #tanks #history #WW2 #WWII
