Operation Kwikpen aus der Schmerzklinik holen erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Musste im Parkhaus parken, hab somit mein Tagespensum an Schritten erreicht. Zeit für Bubutime. 💤

Mit der Podologin hat alles gut geklappt, Schwiegerpapa war sehr zufrieden. In Sachen Kwikpen hat sich ergeben dass ich wohl die Kanüle nicht richtig angebracht habe. Shit happens. Am Abend mit der Frau lecker gekocht und gegessen. 😉

Gestern noch +12°C, heute max. +5°C und ein garstiger, kalter Wind. Bevor es regnet oder schneit mal schnell noch bissel was einkaufen, das Auto tanken und wenn die Einkäufe verstaut sind, in der Schmerzklinik noch den Kwikpen holen, den ich vergaß. 🙄

I am switching from vials of Zepbound to something called a KwikPen (thanks I hate it) and there are literally 17 steps to the instructions so I’m already anxious about injecting on Friday lol. I just have to remind myself how many people are using this correctly every week

I just cant get myself to use the kwikpen with the needles. I am terrified. So I'm opting to go with the single dose pen again. It's $150 more but I'm more comfortable with it, I will hit my deductible so the rest of the year will be super cheap and I'm using HSA funds.

Insurance is only covering the KwikPen now and I'm so scared to have to stare at a needle and manually inject myself and then push the plunger down to release the medicine. I truly don't know how I'm going to do it 😳

Had to fight Aetna today. They refuse to cover my insulin.
Thankfully, I have 2 plans or else I'd be out $1500 - $2000/month just to not die.
Fuck for-profit health care.
They even admit there are no alternatives. Meaning "die faster"

Just took my first 10mg dose of Mounjaro. Also my first time with the KwikPen. Easier than the vials, for sure, but intimidating in its newness.
Hopefully this dose goes as easily as the previous ones!
