Prop 40 has a narrow Yes lead in LA which is nice. But we did also vote for a third sales tax increase in a year because this one helps fund the LAFD

Yeah, I mean it sucks that our sales tax is going up a lot, but can't deny the LAFD needs it. Also the LAPD was mad about the measure so I got to stick it to them lol

LAFD says Workday testing underway as fire payroll issues persist

Dispatch shouldn’t be under LAPD. Easy argument to make: LAPD and LAFD are two separate departments, they need to be separate, and we should have dispatch be independent to serve them both and thus serve you better
