Hump day, proud of this. Longest run in a while. Nice and steady, building back. #running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy #legoelf #morningmiles #keepgoing #running #morningmiles
Legorunbuddy and legoelf sat on a garden wall, pink flower to the left of runbuddy and a front window behind. Bushes to the right of legoelf. Garmin screenshot of my 8.5km run with time, distance, pace.

LEGO Mr. Narwhal

To this day Elf remains a staple holiday movie for our family. The Mr. Narwhal scene is just so good, I needed it for my winter village. So I built one out of LEGO

Longest run since before injury, so since May? Not going to lie bits of it felt bleurgh, just slow it down and keep plodding. Not helped by minimal sleep, but my head needed that to get through today. #running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy #legoelf #running #mentalhealth #sunrise #keepgoing

Junior parkrun tail walking duties, definitely running today though! We found a teletubby at the park, left it safely for their owner to find hopefully. #legorunbuddy has a friend for December #legoelfbuddy #running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy #parkrun #highvisheroes
Yellow teletubby toy, its stood on a moss covered fence post. Legorunbuddy to the right & a mini legoelf in front. The legoelf is waving. Tail walkers at junior parkrun wearing orange high vis vests and running down a hill behind 2 junior parkrunners.

Kerknackered, so wanted to stay in bed but 4 easy miles done & a walk to get to 10,000 steps before 7am. Probably looked a right wally dancing to Xmas tunes on the final mile of my run, don't care. #running2keepthecrazyaway #danceyourcaresaway #legorunbuddy #legoelf #running #mentalhealth

Easy 5km in rain and almost 40mph wind 😂random pics from the run including a high school near me with an old building that always looks lovely, security lights ruin picture somewhat. #running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy ##legoelf #running #mentalhealth
Legorunbuddy and legoelf stood on a weird tall trailer filled with bright yellow pipes for some work being done I think to gas pipes.. not sure though. Close up of the legorunbuddy and legoelf on trailer, you can see yellow pipes to the left and in background Picture of an old building, little up has s sort of bell tower on the top. It's a high school building part of the original that has now expanded. Lit up with security lights. It's CNS high school Norwich Google to get a decent description of the building. Weather report screenshot. Rain, 40mph wind.. perfect for running.

Pretty lights... absolutely losing the plot this evening... so an easy 5km before bed. Loud music to drown out my head & pretty Christmas lights, simple things. #running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy #legoelf #Christmas #lights #keepgoing #running #mentalhealth
Legorunbuddy and legoelf stood on a garden wall, the house behind has Christmas lights, a star, a merry Christmas sign, an inflatable santa on a sleigh and colourful light up wreath. Legorunbuddy and legoelf stood on a garden wall, with white Christmas lights behind, some lights twisted round a tree and others over the arch of a front porch.

Lego elf stood on a metal road railing infront of legorunbuddy. Traffic lights behind. The road is empty and quiet, it's early morning and dark. Garmin screenshot of run. 8 5km nice and easy pace. With smiley emojis

Better late than never, an easy mile chatting with a friend as they rode their bike home. Then a blissful 5km in the rain, really enjoyed that. Finding my running mojo & celebrating with gin, the joy of sitting in a swing in living room with a can of g&t. 🤣#running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy
Moody dark evening sky. The road is wet and black, street lights in the distance creating reflections in puddles. No people or cars, just quiet residential street. Outlines of houses to each side of the road. A person holding a can of gin and tonic, wearing tkiboo running leggings in a nest swing, Christmas lights up in the window it's taken by the person holding the drink so you just see the hand holding drink in front and their legs. They hsve parkrun wristband and bracelets on. Legorunbuddy and legoelf stood on a low garden wall. It's dark and rainy, there is a light from a window slightly visible behind them. Garmin screenshot showing runs, totaling 4 miles

Early doors run, then swim on a grey, wet morning. First run post bug 🤮 so very gentle. But so glad I dragged myself up & out. Taking M & a friend to town in a bit, then I have an evening with friends later, there will be gin 😉#running2keepthecrazyaway #legorunbuddy #legoelf #running #wildswim
Legorunbuddy and legoelf sat on a road street sign, it's very early, before sunrise, dark, can see houses in background but not much else as it's misty and damp the kind of wet that hangs in the air. Picture looking along a river to a bridge, there is a jetty to the left hand side for paddleboarders. It's misty, grey, dull but the reflection of trees is visible in the water and there is some green grass amongst the brown bushes. Empty residential treet, before sunrise, streetlight to the left, telegraph pole and a big tree on each side of the road looking dark against the misty sky. It's damp, grey but one house has lights on in the windows. Garmin map of my run, just over 4 miles nice and easy.

Dragged myself out for an evening run to collect a bundt tin. A certain child wants a marble cake, luckily the elves want to bake one tomorrow. #legorunbuddy #legoelf ##running2keepthecrazyaway #festivefun
2 elves, one in a rainbow fluffy coat, sat in a pile of baking equipment. Measuring spoons, eggs, cocoa, vanilla essence, flour, sugar, a glass bowl and a bundt tin. Feet wearing knitted socks, with a legorunbuddy balanced on one and a legoelf balanced on the other.
