St Engan’s Church, Llanengan in North Wales was built around 1520. However, the screens are thought to have come from Cymer Abbey in Gwynedd which was founded in 1198 for a group of Cistercian monks from Abbey Cwmhir in Powys.

But did see a small hillfort in the distance, from er, a pub (the Sun, Llanengan, proper village local 🍺) & took terrible photo.
Castell Iron Age hillfort, Llanengan. The tall chimney was built during 19th C lead ore mining.
