#LLMs/#Generative
I'm an "A.i." abolitionist.

No consumer-facing LLMs or generative "A.i." in anything.

Sure, machine learning in science and a few other limited applications is fine.

But consumer-facing LLMs and generative "A.i." that are based on theft, push disinfo, and can be manipulated by billionaires?

No.

Ban LLMs and generative "A.i." from your life.

Just say no to LLMs and generative "A.I." as much as you can, wherever you see it.
“Despite significant issues of bias, unethical data-sourcing practices and environmental harms, LLMs and other corporate-backed AI tools are becoming default infrastructure for teaching and learning at the same time that data taken from students and faculty is being used for AI development.”

100% homegrown rodent, no generative AI, no LLMs used

You should stop using LLMs and generative “A.i.” This trash tech is a tool of fascism.
White House officials are preparing an executive order targeting tech companies with what they see as “woke” artificial-intelligence models, their latest effort to go after diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

The order would be one of several expected to be released outlining the president’s vision for winning the AI race with China.

So apparently they're not referring to Generative AI or LLMs.

This is what people complain about when they talk about misleading headlines and translations.

On @pablo.show I talked about the limits of generative AI, and why the brainstorming process—which LLMs mostly eliminate, imo—is fundamental to doing *good* work.

Ban LLMs and generative "A.I." Just ban it all.
This is probably fine…

Once again, as far as I can tell, the primary functions of consumer-facing LLMs and generative "A.i." are cheating, disinfo, and fraud.
my husband sent me an Instagram reel and was like….is this AI?

and upon searching: it is a plague of AI fake Natives across TikTok and IG selling various “handcrafted” items. moccasins. earrings. jackets.

they all have the same AI website and all the stuff costs $79.99

They probably aren’t using generative AI or LLMs.

Reminder that LLMs and generative "A.I." are garbage and no responsible institution should use them.
"In 2023 Elsevier began using AI during production without informing the board, resulting in many style and formatting errors, as well as reversing versions of papers that had already been accepted and formatted by the editors."

very innovative, very cool
Evolution journal editors resign en masse
Board members expressed concerns over high fees, editorial independence, and use of AI in editorial processes.

Please don't use LLMs and generative "A.i."

That shit will absolutely fuck you up and humiliate you.

WRITING IS THINKING

LLMs and generative "A.I." constitute anti-human theft of the human experience. Reject it whenever you see it.
No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you.

Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.

And, just to be clear, when I say AI in this context, I mean Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs).
October 17, 2025 at 2:32 AM
LLMs and generative "A.i." are trash and no one should be using them for this kind of work.
A BBC study just found that generative AI can't even generate news story synopses with any consistent accuracy, and here we are happily pretending it's a symmetrical replacement for education and experience
February 17, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Please do your best to never use LLMs or generative "A.I." in anything you do. It's all trash, up and down.

Reminder that consumer-facing LLMs and generative "A.i." are not "inevitable" or "here to stay" and anyone who says that is selling you something -- and that something is garbage.

LLMS and Generative "A.i." are Trash Exhibit 383873762
scammers are using LLMs to take up all the slots in community college courses in San Diego as part of a financial aid scam. Hard to see a way this doesn't eventually kill remote learning for these colleges. Huge deadweight loss generated by LLMs.
Community college professors have been left to play detective has their online courses fill up with fake students as part of a financial aid scheme.

Analytical AI is doing amazing things in science and medicine. Generative LLMs are theft. Do not conflate the two.
This is a prime example of:
-misleading headline
-missing context (gives rate of false negatives but tools with high false negatives are used in medicine all the time, so that rate might not be significant)
-use of "AI": conflating generative AI with the analytical AI that's widely used in medicine
About two-thirds of patients who were flagged by the AI stethoscope as potentially having heart failure did not actually have it.

I miss the days before generative LLMs rotted this guy's brain
September 8, 2026 at 2:06 AM
That Capcom thing is a great reason why we need to start calling generative AI as LLMs and -not- AI, because there is a distinct difference in something like, developing local in house tools to automate something like wall collision testing, and using Generative LLMs based on Data Centers.
October 3, 2026 at 5:16 PM
hey a small request:

don't use fucking LLMs or generative "A.i." for anything. they destroy your brain. they're wide open to manipulation by right wing billionaires. they're full of lies. they're based on theft.

just say no.
May 25, 2025 at 12:47 AM
All of the LLMs stole from me. Most of the big "A.i." billionaires are horrifying right wingers. Consumer-facing generative "A.i." "writing" and "art" tools deskill people, cheat kids out of real education, spread falsehoods and disinfo, and violate privacy.

So no, I ain't using that shit.
August 21, 2026 at 3:02 AM
i hate that AI companies have muddied the word "generative"

Generative art: procedural art created using a *system of mathematical rules designed intentionally* by the artist.

AI-generated: created by automated systems (LLMs) using opaque, extractive processes unknown to both the user and viewer.
