#3dprinted Yak-55 model #RCplane fitted w/ 1000KV 13T brushless motor (based on 'Elecronoobs' model). Built before I learned about LWPLA ... and at just over 1lb, will it fly!? 🛫🛩️🛬

Oh and, thanks to using LWPLA/TPU the head, complete with lighting, padding, paint, ears, everything, only weighs in at around 670 grams! The ears are only about 80 grams each (before priming/painting/varnish, that of course adds a little bit of extra)

After some research I've found two types of filaments I haven't used before but sounded quite promising: LWPLA and LWTPU. These materials foam up during printing, reducing the amount of material in the print. I then reprinted the ears(LWTPU) and headshell (LWPLA). LWPLA is very hairy :P
