The LaDems are fucking horrible. I refuse to believe there aren’t good centrist candidates here they could support, they just don’t. They’re as corrupt as anything in Louisiana, I can’t believe they’re just inept. The lack of a proper primary cycle is another problem.

This also renders the conspiracy theory that LADems railroaded Pratt's votes to get him out of the way preposterous: Bass would much rather face Pratt than Raman.

everyone from the outside who is saying X or Y is why our election was fuvked (saturday elections are bad! did you know it’s an lsu home game?) this is the real reason turnout sucked. ladems aren’t even trying so why should the electorate?

I saw a trashed O'Malley sign & smiled thinking about what a rebuke of the "ladems" it was that my district went HEAVILY in favor of actual, substantive progressive Mandie Landry & how dumb they were to do that. It's almost like there are lots of actually progressive people out there. Go figure!
