Visual impairment is the area of accessibility in which I have worked the absolute least; my discipline is motor, cognitive, and communication. Unfortunately the accessibility stuff I’d keep an eye out for wouldn’t really be labelable automatically, but this is a great awareness mechanism too

my kink count only features easily labelable fetishes featured specifically in sex scenes and does not cover the crazy findom thing they have going on among many other things. like this is just entrenched in fetish down to the bone despite having a fairly mundane setting & characters.

im learning to be less suspicious of feeling happysad/bittersweet/melty (and uh, good thing too since its like my third labelable emotion after "angery" and "nothing")

Wait, this is so interesting thanks to <button> being a form control. Some behavior only possible with :has(:has()) may be possible using this... wow! <object> & <fieldset> don't seem to work with this even though it is a "labelable" form control according to MDN

So the feds are trying to pass a law that would make the MG Nebula finalist book I edited labelable as obscene.

And I can't talk about it or sell books at the upcoming local con because I'm banned for your safety.

But apparently it's going to be 50 today and I'm excited to have the window open. 💙

Every time @bsky.app releases an update the replies are all something like give us labelable annotees! We need transferable platypodes! If you want to make this platform successful you simply have to just add private commits

(and I always and forever stand by the opinion that "adult" label applied by the author should make the post non auto-labelable. If it's adult, it's adult, no extras needed because even if it's too high, what of it? Highest label runs no risk of slipping past the filters!)

The list of labelable elements according to the html spec is button, input (if the type attribute is not in the Hidden state), meter, output, progress, select, textarea, and form-associated custom elements.

Unfortunately that role isn't allowed to change behaviour so that can't work. I just don't get why it's limited to those elements in the first place.

You also can't make your custom element labelable without form associating.

Allow custom-elements to be a labelable element without being form-associated. · Issue #11584 · whatwg/html
What is the issue with the HTML Standard? Currently a custom element can opt-in to be a fully form-associated element via static formAssociated = true;, this comes with a few different bits of func...

Yeah. Personally I usually prefer to keep things a bit more private when I am able to RP with others (mostly because I don't want to annoy people too much with roleplay stuff flooding their feeds, which is understandable) but things like that really should be labelable.

Who will label the labels?

Two thoughts. Opt-in traceability, knowing who actually does the labelling, would be so primo. Raise the awareness of the network!

Then just the top. Labels should be labelable. Begin to allow meta-moderation to form. See the schisms.

I think that one was unsurprising for many working in the field, but much of sci-fi gives us the wrong idea; it's full of self-driving vehicles and walking robots that talk funny. However, "intellectual" tasks is where the abundance of easily encodable and labelable data is, hence the early progress

i got a new notebook to use for my daily notebook things (mostly lunacy and tarot)

it is a Midori A5 Notebook Journal with grid block and index markers

it’s very similar to my also-Midori brand notebook i use for music, and replaces some random-brand one i was using for spiritual practice

As someone on the high functioning borders of this, I feel happy for people who feel validated or that they understand themselves better or accessed help through diagnosis, but I do worry if there are negative impacts too both for those diagnosed & folks with less labelable neurodiverse tendencies

does not require any relation of having kids/having post childbirth related physiological expressions. Rather, they must simply be an older woman, though it does come with the idea of "prowling" for younger people(men).

it is also more self labelable

If it is possible to put a name tag on something, why isn’t the word for that “labelable”?
