Labour's immigration changes are horrendous for working people.

I'm glad people are outraged at Labour's cruelty towards immigrants. I'm sorry they have to be.

I wish they'd be as outraged at Labour's cruelty to trans people. Or even aware of it.

I reckon the minister most likely to be Labour's Chris Grayling is Lucy Powell
Lucy Powell is about as likely to help universities as I am to fly to the moon. Without a spaceship. When will people get it into their heads that DfE can barely find unis on a map and can't count to ten, let alone help? Ignore Powell: save yourselves.

Powell: university leaders should accept blame for financial woes
Vice-chancellors should take responsibility for mismanagement rather than always blaming government policies, says education secretary

There is no possible way, no matter how many times Mahmood repeats it, that Labour's anti-immigration policies can come under the principle of "fairness"

welcome to the Sharon account where you get: foreign policy, jokes about Labour's insanity about sex, and John Rawls

Labour’s Reform-lite leadership has constantly harped on about “protecting women” from trans people as an excuse to be transphobic AF.

In reality women don’t need protection from trans people but they REALLY DO need protection from Labour’s Reform-lite leadership.
Probably should also be mentioned that all of this has been while also pandering to anti-trans ideology which has been shown to put more women and children at risk, though such things as the increasing prevalence of so called "sex checks". 2/

Reflecting on it some more I'm even angrier today that Labour's choice to my parents would be "become indentured servants for 30 years or be tortured by a US-backed military regime and probably die"

It has to be clear by now that Labour's move to the far right on immigration was never about Reform or the electorate, it's ideological

Despite the resistance of its base, it keeps mainstreaming far-right politics so conclusion must be drawn

“It sums up not only the nastiness of it all, but the irrationality that now plagues almost any conversation about immigration, with politicians seemingly contractually obliged to ignore basic common sense as well as decency.”

Now we see how much Labour's word is worth and how far they will go to protect their genocidal allies.

Obviously the big problem with Labour's immigration policies is that they're cruel and racist. There is also a secondary problem that if they're meant as a form of cynical electioneering they don't fucking work.
