Democrats, including Latino Democrats, have always bemoaned that Latino voters don't turn out. It happens across the board, but it's especially big in Texas. It requires specific targeting and coordination. But now, Latino voters are furious.
There are now 642k Texans who have early voted who did not vote at all in the 2024 Presidential election. 48% of them (310,997) are Hispanic. And 39% (122,461) of those Hispanic surge voters are under the age of 30.

Parts of the South are also more heavily Latino than people realize. In 2026, Southern politics are no longer just Black/White. Obviously places like TX and FL have huge Latino populations, but look at GA etc. Change is afoot on multiple dimensions at once!
