We had a colored pencil assignment in my Illustration class. We were only allowed to use up to six colors. It's my first time using this medium. Really enjoyed it!

The bright gradient base had to go, I switched to a grayscale underpainting instead. Spent some time pushing shadows and highlights around, and I'm much happier with where it's headed now.

I used it to make a channel for an elastic waistband. This waistband is waayyyyyyy better than the one in the first nightgown I made a couple weeks ago.
