A fun-filled week in Primary 2! 🌟 We kicked things off learning about the learning pit and even built our own through play! 🏗️🎯 #Primary2 #LearningPit #BackToSchool

3/ Here’s another of my favourite illustrations of the #LearningPit. This one has gained a lot of traction through the years. #EduSky

Hello 👋 to all my new connections - 100+ this weekend. Having given up on Dark-X & the like, it’s refreshing to have a new, happy space to start sharing again. I’ll start with these lovely displays (more to follow) #classroom #learningpit #scottishborders

4/ This is an absolute favourite of mine - from Sunnyside International School in Gifu, Japan

If you have a version of the #LearningPit that you’d like to share then please tag me so that I can repost it.

"Aprendre té molt a veure amb fomentar la confiança, amb creure que es poden resoldre els reptes, amb saber gestionar amb calma la incertesa que envolta qualsevol problema, amb no desanimar-se quan les coses no surten com pensàvem o amb mantenir l’esforç"

It is challenging to discuss effective vs ineffective use of #GenAI with students. Here, I borrow James Nottingham's #learningpit to show how GenAI can be a #bridgeofillusion, tricking us into thinking we can skip the hard bits but in reality doing so leaves us in the same place as where we started.

Caught this lovely silhouette of the #learningpit in a classroom @MPPS_eltham after meeting with a group of Ss, who told me all about the value of thinking hard, sticking with it and knowing when to ask to for help.
