Hver gang jeg ser lederne mine bygge omdømme med sin satsing på "KI-teknologi", tenker jeg på alle de UiA-ansatte som hvert semester ber om hjelp til å lage en vanlig pensumliste i Leganto, eller gjøre enkle formateringsvalg i Word. UiA har forøvrig ikke support på Word, så det må de løse selv.

Dette minner meg om da det digitale pensumlistesystemet Leganto nettopp hadde blitt innført, og vi som holdt på med emnet Nordisk litteratur før 1900 fikk en strøm av rasende eposter fra biblioteket med spørsmål om vi hadde rettighetsklarert bruken av tekster som Voluspå og Draumkvedet

I don't teach in my job any more, but I know I still have my mojo, because I just made a room full of academics repeatedly laugh (and gasp once) during a 20 minute presentation on Leganto, our reading list management system. And reading lists, let's be honest, are pretty dull. 😊

It's just not, though, is it? I chucked some stats for their Leganto engagement on the screen, challenging them to beat other departments in 24/25, told them to count the number of times I said "Leganto", and more of that sort of nonsense. I spent less than 3 minutes showing them how to use Leganto.
