I’m convinced that two-word solutions to NYT Letterboxed are a secret conversation between combative partners. First there was “vexatious strumpet” followed by “problematic cock,” and now this

NYT Games' Letterboxed doesn't have "bitch" in its word bank but Wordle has the 100% racist/misogynist "squaw" in its wordbank. NYT-G has repeatedly justified keeping it in response to my complaints. Gross. #Letterboxed is a far more mentally interesting game anyway.

I just saw an older TV series broadcast on Finnish national TV with black bars on *all four sides* because it was originally recorded widescreen and then originally broadcast letterboxed

Yup, I have OBS setup to use Display Capture as either full size or letterboxed depending on the aspect ratio of the game. I set it that way since in the past a number of indie titles I've streamed didn't play nicely with Game or Window Capture.

I was trying to decide between a comedy and a thriller and I found Dungeons &Dragons Honor Among Thieves from 2023. I have heard good things about this movie and always meant to watch it. D: John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein. #Filmsky #Reelrank #Letterboxed

Back in my day when a movie was letterboxed it's how you knew it was a good one.

currently having a crisis because i've been organizing my letterbox films and my top lists are so wildly different than the letterboxd community writ large, sigh. it's very hard being an insecure critic, lol.
