Leifras (LFS) will release first-half fiscal 2026 results on October 7, 2026, covering the six months ended June 30.An English-language earnings call is scheduled for October 8 at 8:30 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time, followed by a Japanese-language briefing on October 9 at 3:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time.

That’s really frustrating: though as someone who responded to the LFS a couple of times and then didn’t - despite strongly believing in the importance of accurate public survey data - I have *views* about some reasons for their low response rates…

the same is true, obviously, of the rise in health-related inactivity - while the LFS probably overstated the immediate post-pandemic rise, both the UC-health and PIP data tell you that there is definitely *something* going on.

LFS was the initial source of the build yes but now it has its own custom build system as well as a package manager.
I actually wanted to do this!
LFS takes up 15-20 GB of storage, although rate limits even for my pro plan on codex make it not enough

There was a major LFS redesign in 1976 and as far as I know the previous version was never made available as PUMF.

Yes, overall (not just here) we seem to be adjusting employment for PAYE, sticking with LFS self employment. Then there's the hours stuff last week. Basically it's hard to measure things anyway, people have stopped answering, and splitting the pandemic effect on responses v reality is v difficult!

I can manually invoke "git lfs locks --verify --json" and it works. But if I launch Godot and have my script do the exact same thing it fails with not being able to find the credentials for this repository (set to use libsecret and it's in my keyring).
Is it because it's an AppImage??

Okay seems like my Godot LFS plugin breaks as a result of not being able to find git-credential-manager, and that makes it not release a lock (which, upon trying to refresh LFS state again later, deadlocks the whole app)
