Listening to this at the moment (it's one of the few Albini recorded things I have on vinyl) and the outro drone could easily be on False Lankum.
Info tab on Sun O))) album LifeMetal stating it was recorded and mixed on magnetic tape, all analogue process, by Steve Albini. Sunn O))) - LifeMetal playing on a Technics SL-1200G in my little wooden cabin.
