I like the theory that he tried some medical thing to become more masculine thinking a billionaire can just be lightyears ahead of normal science. I don't know if that's true, but it seems to fit his personality

(spoilers) Today, I finally watched Toy Story 5 with my mum! It was very nice, but I'm still thinking: where did those 30 Buzz Lightyears go after the end? Tell me I'm not the only one who thought about it. I loved to see the backstory of Jesse too, because I love her since the first movie!

In a just world, "Toy Story 5" would have a game that came out 3 days after the movie released and only marginally follows the plot and there would be 3 hidden Buzz Lightyears in every level and it would have one infamously hard level that everyone remembers and IGN would give it a 6.8/10

But this doesn't mean a trip between stars takes just weeks, even with the time dilation that happens. Even the closest stellar systems are usually lightyears apart — especially in our part of the galaxy. So trips still take years of shipboard time. Thus ships like Q'Enmari are large and livable…

We didn’t finish the movie yesterday because my kid was bored and there’s no point in complaining about details like this. But I will just say. There is no reason at all why the island full of shipwrecked Buzz Lightyears wouldn’t be speaking normal full sentences to each other

i think this may be particularly hard to imagine in the US, where one is often punished for not taking every shift offered to you, or for taking vacation time you've earned (or calling out sick when you're sick 🙃), the opportunity to work less without making less feels lightyears beyond that
