There's two now in Wigan that get mown by boy racers. The Bryn junction near Sainsbury's and the first roundabout on the new-ish A49 linkway.
A couple of years ago a Polo hit the Bryn roundabout and turned over, landing on the wire statue.

A powerful cultural exhibition, running **23 February - 9 March** , will honour those lost to the AIDS crisis in **Runcorn** later this month, with a rare public display of a panel from the **UK AIDS Memorial Quilt**. The launch of the exhibition will be held at **St Andrew’s Church Linkway** , Runcorn (WA7 5EJ) on **Saturday, 28 February** , from **2pm to 5pm** , offering the community a poignant opportunity to reflect on the lives commemorated through this national treasure. The launch event’s special guest and keynote speaker will be **Jonathon Blake** , patron of **Northwest HIV Support CIC** and one of Britain’s longest‑surviving people living with HIV. Blake, who became widely known following the film _Pride_ , has spent decades campaigning for LGBTQ+ rights, HIV awareness, and the preservation of queer history. His presence is expected to be a highlight of the afternoon, bringing personal insight into the significance of the quilt and the stories stitched into it. The UK AIDS Memorial Quilt stands as one of the most important community art projects of its time. Each panel, crafted by loved ones and activists, serves as a memorial to individuals lost, as well as a reminder of the discrimination and stigma faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Exhibitions of the quilt remain rare due to its fragility, making the Runcorn showing a significant moment for local residents and visitors alike. Alongside the exhibition and Blake’s address, the afternoon will feature performances from **Hart’s n Voices choir** , **Kelly Creswell** , **John Bostock** , and more local talent. The event aims to blend remembrance with celebration of resilience, community, and ongoing activism. Refreshments will be provided, and organisers hope the afternoon will foster both reflection and connection, particularly for younger LGBTQ+ people who may be encountering the story of the quilt for the first time.

That Bryn roundabout is where I first learned the phrase 'adverse camber'. I remember asking my dad when I was about 10. He struggled through it but it made sense. I've only been on that linkway once so I don't know it well. The Bryn one has always been a bit dodgy coming off the motorway.

I came from Tampines, and this ad appears, encouraging people to come to the new mall, even if Tampines already has a surplus of malls Upon entering Pasir Ris, you are greeted with the mall right in front, with an open plaza facing the MRT tracks The entrance to the MRT is still incomplete so I had to take a detour around, through a crowded bus stop Theres a bus stop right in front of the open entrance, and it looks like there's gonna be a 24h linkway to the MRT station

Between April and July 2025, the resident fired metal balls from his window toward nearby trees and a covered linkway on multiple occasions. Several projectiles missed their targets, piercing and damaging kitchen windows in a neighboring block.

the last of 3 bridges over the East Don river leads to the spot where there will be a tunnel under the CN/GO track to connect with the rest of the Phase 1 East Don Trail down to the Forks of the Don map from trailforks.com showing the "East Motown Connector" path which takes you up out of the valley to Pavane Linkway and Spanbridge Rd... it's marked in red because it is extremely steep... there are ropes strung alongside the trail to help you climb Toronto skyline as seen from the Spanbridge Rd bridge over the DVP... CN Tower and Aura instantly recognizable

The Land #Transport Authority (LTA) has announced the Downtown Line 2 extension (DTL2e) in #Singapore, linking Bukit Panjang to a new interchange station (DE2/NS6). The 4 km extension enhances connectivity, cuts travel times, and strengthens the rail network.

A new linkway can be built to provide a more direct connection to Ghim Moh estate and Star Vista.

As part of an effort to rejuvenate stations and improve non-road connectivity, perhaps more things like this can be done.
