Quite a few old stone buildings around where I grew up. I used to be taken to one of the oldest churches in Wales, in Llanelltyd. The current building is C15, but the churchyard may be pre-Saxon. When I think of being there I think of the cool! (Plus a certain damp smell...)

Another gorgeous run/swim/walk in the early morning before the heat built up.
Incredible skies and views of Cadair Idris and a stroll through the churchyard of St. Illtyd's in Llanelltyd on the way home.

2/2 She moved to Wales in 1884 with life partner sculptor Mary Lloyd who died in 1896. A close friend said that “the joy of life had gone” from Frances who died in 1904. The women are buried together in Llanelltyd, Gwynedd.

It had its challenges, but mostly the New Precipice Walk with Izzie and Joel was stunning this morning.
It may have ended back at the lake for my second, even better, swim of the day.
What a lovely way to spend the last day of my forties.
