I was thinking the same! The whole talk about not trusting sinners when the hotel was attacked by the loansharks felt personal. Maybe he was running the hotel with Fred and then something happened... I really hope they'll show us more in S3!

I'm still not sure an international draft is actaully the way to go here, though. The main purpose of any draft is to limit signing bonuses and if MLB actually enforced it's own rules about handshake agreements then these loansharks wouldn't be able to operate anyways.
