It states that users with access to confidential TWC data are personally accountable for activity under their user ID, and that use of TWC information is limited to these purposes: assisting in criminal investigations; locating defendants, witnesses and fugitives in criminal cases; locating people with outstanding warrants; locating probation absconders; assisting a formal anti-gang unit (bolded); assisting with other background checks (bolded); and auditing Form I-9s under Section 274A of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which requires employers to verify that workers hired after November 6, 1986 are authorized to work in the U.S.
