loremasters are actually fluffchasers and need to be put in their place (headlocks, swirlies, kabedon, etc)
We used to call it fluff back in the day, some game designers found "fluff" a bit dismissive so lore caught on.
Then and to be frank mostly because of youtube summary videos this started getting applied to everything and the demand for it kept gowning

This is such a bad faith framing of this bit of news.
Just about every big franchise with an ongoing story has an official loremaster or lorekeeper. WoW does, for example. Disney are only so invested in KH's story; they just want to be sure it doesn't hurt their brand.

Can anybody tell me the year that Davin is brought into compliance? I know Horus returns there and gets Big Time Evil Shanked in 004.M31, but AFAIK it's him and Lorgar who conquer it some time before and adopt the lodges, right?
