I'm trying to figure out how to feed Binx and not starve Luine (who has and will starve herself - she is persnickety)
Right now Binx can't reach Luine's free feeding station, but that won't last!
Luine will NOT eat a full meal. Ever. She comes back two or three times. This won't change.

Def a thought. Though not sure Luine would bother. She's SO persnickety.

Luine had a very serious sinus infection as a kitten, I think that left her sense of smell...not great & that factors in.

Thank you SO MUCH for this info!
I've never had any animal like Luine! She once starved herself for TWO WEEKS because "her" brand of cat food wasn't available during supply chain problems.
Like nothing worked. Noth. Ing.

Luine loves the salmon/chicken dog food - she'll take that over the salmon cat food! But she still eats, leaves, comes back, eats, rinse and repeat *sigh*
Also she won't eat cold food until it warms up (assume that's odor related)

Oh, good luck, hopefully you can figure something out for Luine!
Years ago there was a blog by some makers (kind of like Evan & Katelyn of YT fame) who had a similar situation & rigged an automatic feeder inside a stall where Luine's counterpart had a collar w/ a sensor that'd activate the feeder.

Binx probably will! Luine likes the dog's canned food, salmon with peas - she surgically eats around the peas. It's quite impressive.

Watching Cat TV together...at least until Luine noticed Binx was right behind her🤣

Binx met Dizzy today! Best dog to start with - though will give her a false sense of "dogs are nice, reasonable animals" 😂
Couple hisses, and then Binx was fine.
Dizzy tried SO HARD to get Binx to play, Binx was...not sure about it all.
So Binx follows Luine and Dizzy follows Binx 🤣 #cats

Luine has never broken anything. Nothing. I'm spoiled. She would bat the ornaments on the bottom of the tree, but climbing not her thing. Knocking stuff off places, also not Luine's thing.
I'm done for now.

So, Luine, what do you think of your new sister?
🤣🤣🤣
Binx is the ultimate annoying little sis - will *not* be deterred, follows Luine everywhere, "Whatcha doin'?!"
Luine is all, "Weren't the dogs enough?"

🤣😂 Poor Luine. Can't a cat get some peace and quiet? How is she expected to survive without 23 hrs/day of uninterrupted solitude? How?!

I’m kinda with Luine on this one. We’re similar in appearance and I, too, like an excess of solitude. 😊❤️

She’s likely to takeover Luine’s spot!! Watch out, Luine.
But, Binx is pretty darn cute 😊

No blood, good sign. I *did* laugh outloud when Luine ran up and Binx hissed at her and Luine took off hell bent. It was such a teey hiss.
Overall it's Binx following Luine and Luine being exasperated.

Went thru the same with Luine ~$500 in tests for nothing. She's fine now.
But with her it was more behaviour change than anything that got me worried.
