Yikes! MarsFPGA is going to be ~$700USD. That's... a hell of an investment upfront. Unlike MiSTer, that's including all the bells and whistles like JAMMA and analog compatibility.
It's not a dealbreaker if it's good, but I'm going to need more than just Dreamcast to throw $700 on another FPGA box.

So there may be some classic late 80's-early 90's arcade cores that aren't on MiSTer that may be on MARSFPGA,
From what I understand, some of these might actually be doable on MiSTer. MARS cores will still be open source if someone wants to port it, but the source won't be released for a year.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm pretty sure Soldier Girl Amazon could run on a DE10Nano if there's something hardware related that prevents it from running on DE10. What would sell me on marsfpga is PGM and Cave CV-1000.

I also don't understand engaging in this kind of behavior after the marsfpga project fell apart the way it did.
It only makes the earlier comments about impossibility on the de-10 nano look even shadier when we have saturn and n64 now.

Between the N64 core on MiSTer, MarsFPGA and now THIS? Fuck it’s a great time to be an original hardware fan of N64 right now! I doubt I’ll get this but it’s exciting nonetheless, can’t wait to see that 8bitdo N64 controller though!

I'm seeing a lot about MarsFPGA on TwiX. It sounds like amazing hardware, but with a price tag of about $700? I need to know what this thing is capable of over MiSTer before I make any decisions, and so far I haven't heard anything definitive.
Is Dreamcast possible? PS2? OG Xbox?
