Sometimes you pick an album from your music library you've listened to hundreds of times over the last 20 years and sometimes the cursor lands on "Crammle Aboon the Gees" by Worm Ridge which you have no memory of and are kinda scared to try to pronounce out loud and that's a good Friday

Hilarious, and apparently nobody has discovered or posted about this before online in English or Japanese

It's a very nice Friday! How would you like to personally make my day and also get a book full of stories and photographs that reflect a life well lived?
Something a bit more personal than usual: For the last 10 years my dad has been struggling with a version of ALS, a terrible neuromuscular disease. He's kept up his spirits by making photo books chronicling his life as a photographer+traveler.

I'm helping sell them now to pay for nursing care:

We have had a hearty band at work (Chapu, Popi, Mr. Nobody, Misty, Shentok and I) working hard on an all-human patch. Fully playable in English, in it final editing pass now.

Popi provided these screencaps today. More news later.

You ever try to do a classy diagonal cut on a sandwich but lazily assume you're too competent to fuck it up and then end up with a really awkward ugly like, 63% - 37% sandwich halves situation.

I haven't. Bet that would be embarrassing though.

r/decomps is one of the most toxic communities the past few months. Any posts that raise some issues with how AI has negatively impacted the space turn into excessive derogatory comments that the moderation team do nothing to limit.
with the sunsetting of decomp.dev, people really need to come to terms with just how much damage vibecoders have done to our community and OSS in general. encounter is a fellow dusklight dev and friend, and seeing people treat him as replaceable in the scene is upsetting.
