Just released a new crate called opslag.
It's a no_std mDNS service discovery implementation in pure Rust.
I'm hacking around with some embedded STM32 hardware and I couldn't find any suitable mDNS lib for such a use case.

Just released a new crate called opslag.

Opus 5.5 still hasn't fixed the thing where Claudes actively do the opposite of what you ask, so I really hope OpenAI has something better at devday to replace the disaster that is 6-Sol and now-middling Astra

This prove of concept does something very cool, it public "secret" to create RTC offer / answer with 17.0.0.1 candidates on a port range using it like mDNS service discovery protocol and then allows you to connect with discovered nodes via Iroh over WebRTC transport extension

update: i now have made a hitachi magic wand that has
(i) json-rpc over wifi
(ii) bluetooth
(iii) mdns
(iv) integration with the original board for buttons and lights

would be like the mdns... of dns.
you'd need to verify, but everything is automate-able.
