#MEGACorps

how lawyers react when megacorps kill millions of people through lack of healthcare access

My journey towards becoming a Linux Pervert has been paved with megacorps' rent seeking behaviors.

One must imagine that all the government relations chuds at the big tech megacorps are spending tonight updating their resumes
November 4, 2026 at 2:36 AM
Megacorps are going to start using pronouns on social media when until literally nothing ago they were promoting trans genocide

If I were in control

Socialized healthcare, immediately
Pensions are mandatory
Incentivize retirees to teach and pass on their skills
Nationalize anyone here
Massive tax breaks to small businesses rather than megacorps
Freedom to roam laws
Land grants to individuals

Don't know, but we have megacorps and AI controled drones. Isn't the future GREAT! 😁
November 6, 2026 at 5:57 PM
LOL a colleague and I were just talking about how we need major trustbusting/breaking up of megacorps.

business executive, like 2 years ago: Where are quiet communities with good values, friendly neighborhoods that haven't been ruined by becoming bedroom communities for megacorps?

internet: I hear ya, there's a few places left though

exec (getting out notepad labeled 'datacenters'): tell me more
November 7, 2026 at 2:44 PM
It’s time to start talking about breaking up the tech megacorps.
November 3, 2026 at 11:22 PM
(Oh also there's 3 total Megacorps (the last one's Unified), so there's that to keep in mind tooooooooo)

Coincidentally, the art is for a videogame about hackers and artists teaming up against oppressive megacorps to help people get healthcare and organize a labor revolution. store.steampowered.com/app/311800/B...

If you started taxing billionaires and megacorps, there would be money for both defending U.S. allies AND schools, plus so much more.

Instead, the American government is subsidizing Elon Musk vaporware to the tune of eleven million dollars per DAY.

Three billion for his failed lunar project alone.

If the people want you to fight corruption, if that was indeed their #1 issue in voting against the GOP, then the Democratic leader can't be someone who sells family relationships to megacorps for profit. It is literally disqualifying.

Sorry/not sorry @schumer.senate.gov : You gotta go.
November 7, 2026 at 10:34 PM
Please, god, fund art by small groups and individuals and try to have ways for games to be made without being controlled by megacorps buying everything up

Corps can't kill games if they don't own them! Stop making them inevitably own everything at a structural economic level

This is illegal, immoral and evil. It's theft. If we treat our fellow creators like this, we really don't have a leg to stand on when people or megacorps rip off our work. Think an artist is too poor to take you to court? You'd better hope they aren't a member of a union with a legal fund...
An author that I made five covers for in a series used ai to clone my style and generate a sixth cover. This is the third time this happened to me this month with long-term clients.

I am sick with rage

Slake update coming this week. Get ready for some stupid evils space megacorps

Alrighty, Sensible Softbyte was in fact, not a Honeypot! I found a Megatron server on the right, and a Link Cube I siphoned allowed me to find Basilisk's home base. Now in my mind I'm thinking of the possible areas the remaining Megacorps could be hiding (they consist of 4 connected servers)...
November 7, 2026 at 3:09 AM
I agree, but it's one of those things where...

I'm still haunted by "The global south will still get screwed if life gets better here, because the megacorps have to make up for lost profits somewhere" dour Marxist talking point, and IDK where to find good rebuttals.

I'd like to join. I make a cyberpunk open-world fps about hackers helping people get healthcare and organize against the megacorps store.steampowered.com/app/311800/B...

False: the tariffs were good for megacorps. They jacked up prices then got a refund.

cyberpunk future where illegal synths heist megacorps to survive on scrap parts
November 2, 2026 at 7:35 PM
Under free market principles, breaking up megacorps will increase competition for lower prices.
November 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM
The stuff that’s gotten expensive is not produced by these megacorps. It’s precisely that stuff that’s gotten cheapest, actually. Electronics, various kinds of trinkets, even food, which is obviously up relative to 2019, is still way, way down relative to most of the 20th century.
November 3, 2026 at 12:53 PM
Basically a return to web 1.0 stuff existing alongside the gigantic slop factories that megacorps run.

There’s definitely renewed interest in blogs and RSS feeds and forums lately, for example
