#MEGAMONEY
The white sox have big idiot energy the only remaining kryptonite to dodgers-style megamoney left in postseason baseball

Honestly, I don’t really know - or care - how you do it, but you have to tax megamoney or you end up with oligarchy by default. That’s what that word means: what happens when state level power and resource leak to individuals who hold them in place of government.

The few evil old men make their megamoney from expensive energy.

Don't believe the Tories saying that Inheritance Tax is high in the UK. A threshold of £325K is only low for those with megamoney.
In Belgium, the threshold is around €30K, for non direct relatives, with tiers of tax rates above as high as 50%.

2 it’s not uncommon, in megamoney deal-making, for companies to acquire something they cannot afford by leveraging, signing long term profit-share deals, or offering stock. That the industry chooses to ignore these options here is about perceived power, not tech or finance.

Of course. The ultra grift. RFKJr + Dr. OZ gonna make sure they get that megamoney from the rich fat bois.

Please sign and share. This government is selling us down the river.
Lots of people making megamoney out of these #freezones

That's the thing. Every so often the megamoney people get gold-crazy & decide to take everything they can get, but then it all comes crashing down because that's not how the world can work for very long.

All the more reason to get megamoney out of elections. Limit campaign spending to travel to meet constituents. The bins at the post offices are stuffed with unread silly “literature” and media is packed with ads that are ignored.

Honestly at this point I think it may be a net negative for the GOP to have the stink of Elon slathered over them, even accounting for the megamoney
New Republic: In recent weeks, Elon Musk has said that he’s going back to being a GOP bankroller, to the tune of $120 million. And the first beneficiary of his dirty money is slated to be Susan Collins. She should suffer for it.

Yes, please!💙

1) Record that call!

2) Will they ‘comply’?

3) Will they be offered $megamoney$ as an incentive?

4) Will their lives and the lives of their families be threatened if they don’t?

Or

5) Will they resist and report?

The Ds get their megamoney from the same donors the Rs do, they just get it from their subsidiaries. The companies now running from DEI ALL touted how important it is - until the turd told them they'd get no tax breaks if they didn't dump DEI. ALL of those companies deserve to be put out of business

Yeah 😒 been following how a few powerful people are throwing megamoney (subsidies) at an already wealthy person to come pollute everyone’s environment, raise everyone’s electric bills and give nothing but UNWANTED GARBAGE back in return.

Two Surreys with moustaches and mullets in the smoking area
“Hit me up with your LinkedIn, bro, let’s make history and megamoney”
Bin. Home.
Our city is occupied by these trumpets

I’ve been considering it under the umbrella of enshitification - they’re turning CBS into a House of Slop and they think their viewership is so captured they’ll just gobble this new recipe under the same packaging. It’s all the same MegaMoney vulture capital bullshit.

HOLD ON I just realized they're gonna be paid in MEGAMONEY of course, silly me
May 1, 2025 at 10:23 PM
That's megamoney of augs for the price of a DNI port. I wouldn't complain either.
August 21, 2025 at 1:35 AM
Considering how both Ds & Rs have been told to get the megamoney out of our politics & won't, & how BOTH parties were told to PUNISH political corruption & won't, Maybe it's time for both political parties to recommit themselves to REPRESENTING Americans instead of trying to lord over them.

I blame private equity and hedge funds

You don't need to have a thing that works properly in order to get megamoney for it. You just need to convince some Tarquin or Lydia that it's the best idea ever, and they throw shitloads of other people's cash at you

sério Gilberto... eu já tô tão de saco cheio dessa gente da direita, dessa gente entreguista, capacho de Megamoney, dessa gente nojenta que sabe que é escrota mas quer lucrar com sua escrotidão

Our judicial system was designed to be the voice of the minority, as check against majority rule, so it's usurpation via megamoney, by right wing majority is especially heinous
Only 35% of Americans trust the US judicial system. This is catastrophic | David Daley
American confidence in the courts has hit a record low across party lines. This is worrying – if not surprising

I think when the megamoney came into Newcastle people expected big signings quickly but PSR has made it near impossible to be the next City or Chelsea, they want the door at the top to be bolted shut
August 14, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Yes. And maybe a similar approach for companies too.

Loadsamoney is an incentive, a reward. Way too much megamoney corrupts and corrodes and ends up turning everything to shit.

Many huge companies would be better if split up into smaller ones.
Not sure why the broad aim: “More millionaires, fewer billionaires” shouldn’t guide quite a lot of what we try to do in the West.

Sounds like a deep-routed FASCIST to me.... 🤔

A reminder of the DANGER of Megalomania + MegaMoney taking advantage of the GREEDY and AMBITIOUS.

TAX THE RICH BIG-TIME!

(It may be too late for Democracy in the US.)
