wrangling with the ui and getting the uwp apps to talk to one another has been easy, i went with the analogue 3d interface as it's the most feature complete with a proper portuguese translation.
HOWEVER. OH MY GOD. METADATA IS A NIGHTMAREEE

an meiner 14.000+ Dateien Audiosammlung,
daraus entstanden Upstream Bugfixes für beide.

because it will support EDITING music tag data soon.
music-metadata does not offer writing, it only can read tags.
taglib can do both and is fairly well established.
Do prepare this transition, I compared the 2 on my huge collection.

I compared its tag parsing (currently implemented by music-metadata github.com/Borewit/musi... )
with taglib's ( github.com/taglib/taglib )
for 14.000+ audio files in my collection.
I filed upstream bugfixes for both tag parsers.

If you wanted to get fancy you could make that a conditional prior for a generative image model: finetuned/LoRA using the data you do have frontage image and metadata for.

We often hear "it's just metadata" as though metadata isn't sensitive.
But combine enough location, device and infrastructure data and you can build an incredibly detailed intelligence picture.
Flock just provided a pretty good demonstration of that.

No license plate database was needed.
Metadata alone was enough to reveal the structure of a massive surveillance network.
