My 1st awakening as a 20 something in MetroDC & new homeowner, why would Congress repeal our ability to write off the interest on our mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, etc? Next was why would Congress allow banks to charge such outrageous interest on credit cards?-back in the 80s.
