i've encountered an actually secure card access control system exactly once in my life. otherwise it's either 125khz (because upgrades are expensive) or Oops! All Mifare classic!

memory is weird, i already forgot what i wanted to do 10 minutes ago yet i somehow still remember the MIFARE type identification procedure off the top of my head and can immediately tell you what card you're holding just from looking at its ATQA+SAK (+ATS if its an ISO 14443-4 card)

Zkušenost s Chameleon Ultra po jednom dni používání.

- mnohem menší než Flipper Zero, dá se nosit na klíčích
- “hackne” a nahraje obyčejné přístupové karty (Mifare Classic)
- neporadí si s Mifare DESFire a podobně
- může mít nahraných 8 karet, lze přepínat
- aplikace je nepřehledná

Attention cependant, tous les smartphones ne supportent pas MIFARE Classic (qui n'est pas du NFC). Il faut un contrôleur NXP pour ça. Le dev de MCT maintient une liste de smartphones (in)compatibles dans le repo du projet : github.com/ikarus23/Mif...

On December 1, Tallinn and Harju County are set to launch a redesigned and more secure - MiFare Plus 128-bit AES encrypted Ühiskaart (public transport card) in two new designs. Existing Ühiskaart cards will remain valid, and no replacement is required.

for those of you who don't get it: while some NFC cards are insecure, any modern card will have encryption on board that makes it very difficult to clone (although tons of older ones like the mifare classic are still deployed because lol)

prox cards are *much* older and have zero encryption
