yes, I'm not actually advocating for flat priors (and in your example the MLE for logistic regression isn't even great frequentistly, and can be improved by Firth's correction aka Jeffreys priors, which is still much weaker than you'd ever consider as a Bayesian these days)

у меня из последних был atopalm mle cream. дороговатый (хотя может они все так стоят, не знаю), но зимой хорошо спасал кожу, и есть маленький объём на пробу. без отдушки. и на губы его использовала, тоже реанимировал когда вся изюмом становилась от сухого воздуха

Understanding Maximum Likelihood Estimation is important for frequentist and Bayesian statistics, alike. E.g., MLE helped me understand missing data theory, and multilevel models (particularly the computational issues that come from small variance parameters).

It's a weird quirk of British Class Bullshit that no matter your background if you speak with a south east English accent most people think of you as middle class whereas you can be a millionaire with a regional/estuary/MLE accent and everyone just accepts you as working class.

Yes, it's related. Economists are much more likely to already believe in the necessity of estimators rather than to think mle or Bayes will fix it.

The point is (effectively) "what's your estimand?" Even with a nice simple beta in a correctly specified model, you can't just say mle or Bayes.
