The entire classical conservative firmament from Hobbes & Hume to Burke & Blackstone would endorse this view, frankly. You cannot have any appreciation for the law & not see the Trump era as the worst possible combination of mobocracy & arbitrary power.
I also think it’s notable on the legal front that serious folks I’ve followed for decades have gone from sober if disappointed analysis to “this Supreme Court must be burned to the ground” - basically all of left legal scholarship is on board with expansion or reform at this point
