Toby Fox wanted to use Mocap animations for Tenna for as far back as 2016. Chelsea Saunders, the person who worked on Tenna and his animations, even bought an Xbox Kinect to mess around with Mocap but it never got used.

Until studios do more to protect women game devs, voice actors, and mocap actors from harassment, I think this isn’t really viable.
too many people see video games as products and not as culture
everyone would appreciate games more if they followed who is creating them instead of only following IPs
real life “lore” is infinitely more interesting than fictional lore and it also helps you better understand the fictional lore too
