Profound Medical and Telix Pharmaceuticals Enter Co-Education Agreement to Advance PSMA-Informed Prostate Care
Profound Medical (NASDAQ:PROF; TSX:PRN) entered a co-education agreement with Telix Pharmaceuticals to educate physicians on imaging-informed prostate care.The agreement establishes a framework for education on Telix’s PSMA-PET molecular imaging and Profound’s MRI-guided TULSA-PRO prostate tissue ablation platform. Planned activities include medical meetings, speaker programs, webinars and clinical case studies. Profound says the collaboration increases its access to urologists in the U.S. and internationally and could help broaden the population considered for the TULSA Procedure.Profound is also developing image-fusion capabilities for a planned future Treatment Delivery Console software release. The functionality is intended to combine Telix’s diagnostic imaging data with real-time MRI during treatment planning; improved patient selection and treatment outcomes remain potential benefits.

Prayers for a good outcome, Cajsa! After my FNA, about a month later they did a MRI guided core needle biopsy. Not fun but you CAN do it. Mine was ER/PR+ Her2-. I opted for bilateral mascectomy with flat closure. That was 2 years ago when I was 64. Don't miss them a bit. Keep your head up!!!
