LibreOffice does a pretty good job. I ditched MS365 last January and have used Libre Writer interchangeably with work colleagues. Handles doc/docx files well. I use PROTON for most other services, Mail, Drive, Pass.

I used OO long time ago, with mixed results, then switched to Libreoffice.
LO is well usable in a corporate environment.
I would say that OnlyOffice/Collabora is the equivalent of MS365.
