Hahahaha!!! I tell them to NOT use their Google Chromebooks and instead use the college computers in front of them in the classroom, a thing they are hesitant to do. Then I have to show them how to log into their college accounts, navigate to MS365 and One Drive and their Outlook. It’s a pain.

Same here, I have one of the "grandfathered" free GApps accounts.
Nothing else does it better and I'd have to pay anybody else (Proton, MS365)

チーム作業でMS365を使ってたけど、もう使わないみたいだから解約して、個人版のOneDriveだけ少し容量足すくらいでいいかな。

サントリーの今回の情報漏洩はMicrosoftのクラウドからとのことだけど、だったらセキュリティ理由でMS365のビジネス版にするメリットはないね。
やっぱ持っていかれることを想定して、どれだけ強固に暗号化してあるかが大事な気がするな。もちろんE2EEで。アカウント自体を乗っ取られたらダメだけど。

Just earlier this year I replaced MS365, 1Password, and PIA with #Proton... And now, I'm debating moving. Andy Yen needs to be removed. If I was there I'd be walking around to my co-workers and organizing a mutiny and overthrow.

Is Microsoft broken in some way? My MS365 won't open and J's Windows has created a new default ID for him which he can't access and logged him out of everything. Bah.

It's rather infuriating that my school board removed desktop MS Word from my laptop, shifting to the online version through MS365.
1. Doesn't support the file types I have old tests saved as, so I have to convert the files to .docx (which is annoying but nbd).
2. Converts .docx to .pdf to print.

Retention policy to manage by age is not available at their license level. They'd have go go from Exchange P1 ($4/mo) to MS365 E5 ($60/mo) to get that feature.

microsoft put copilot in my word program & the help info says I can turn it off under preferences but there's no button there. I've logged in & out of MS365, I have closed & opened Word, turned my computer on & off. It's still trying to edit my doc for me & there's still no way to turn it off. ACK!

そこと自分がどういう関係を持っているか、情けないながら覚えていなかったが、そこを通じてMS365の契約をしているらしい（「らしい」と書かねばならないことが情けない）。

We swapped our company's email from internally hosted Exchange to MS365 over the weekend, so this was always going to be a fun morning.
But we didn't expect a major firewall routing issue crippling all internet for the company coincidentally hitting at 7am this morning as well 🙃
