🙌🌍 Hake fishing in Namibia wasn’t always sustainable. Before Independence, Namibia’s hake was heavily overfished by distant-water fleets. Today, hake fishers, government, scientists and coastal communities are working together to protect the resource for the long term. The fishery was MSC certified for a second time in early 2026 and it continues to support a thriving industry that gives back to people and the ocean. #SustainableFisheries #WorkingTogether #MSCCertified
